Radiation Oncology Residency Program

Scott & White Hospital and Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine have joined forces to create a leading Graduate Medical Education Radiation Oncology residency program. We offer a four-year residency in Radiation Oncology with guidelines established by the ACGME Radiation Oncology section.

The Radiation Oncology Residency Program consists of PGY-2 through 5 years, which will include clinical radiation oncology rotations, elective rotations and a research rotation.  It is anticipated that each resident will rotate through each of six radiation oncology services at least twice during their training, once as a junior resident and once as a senior resident. It is expected that as each resident progresses through their training, they take on greater responsibility in the care of their patients, gain greater insight into that area of practice and, lastly, mentor junior residents and medical students.
