Plastic Surgery Residency Program

Scott & White Healthcare has offered a residency in plastic surgery since 1991, producing the first graduate of the program in 1993. The program, which began as a combined model, was transformed into a six-year, fully integrated model of training beginning in 2010. Two residents are selected each year to begin training as first year residents through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).

The mission of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program is to produce outstanding plastic surgeons that provide exemplary patient care enhanced by education, research and leadership. This is accomplished through a unique mixture of private and academic healthcare opportunities encompassing the practices of nine plastic surgeons, three hospitals and a cosmetic surgery center.
