Providing you with skills needed to perform as a consultant or primary provider of care for patients with lung diseases and critical illness.
Our three-year, clinically-oriented fellowship in affiliation with Texas A&M College of Medicine and our partnership with Central Texas VA Hospital provide a wealth of academic and clinical experience. Our designations as a Pulmonary Hypertension Center, a Cystic Fibrosis Affiliate Center, and an Alpha-1-Antitrypsin Center increase the breadth of the fellows' clinical exposure. Fellows receive extensive procedural training, including use of simulation technology in teaching bronchoscopy, ultrasound, and airway intubation skills. All fellows receive some training in sleep medicine as well. We expect and provide mentorship for scholarly activity, with multiple research opportunities during your fellowship.
