Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program
The Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine - Scott & White Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The program consists of two fellows and is a one-year subspecialty training.
Applicants to the program must have completed Internal Medicine residency training and have passed the Internal Medicine boards, completed a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and be eligible for examination by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology.
There are four staff cardiologists involved in the program. This faculty-to-fellow ratio provides extensive one-to-one teaching relationships. The program emphasizes clinical experience in preparation for examination by the American Board of Cardiology.
