Adult Cardiothoracic (CT) Anesthesiology Fellowship

This one-year fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology available to those residents completing residency in Anesthesiology. The fellowship is designed to meet all criteria as required, and is accreditated by the ACGME.

Scott & White Hospital offers a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical services with dedicated thoracic, cardiac and vascular surgeons. The Division is also the first academic anesthesiology division in the state to use real-time, three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (3DTEE) in the operating rooms. This is an active area of research and serves as an excellent teaching tool for those learning sonography in addition to providing improved clinical care.

How to apply

Academics

The fellow will be well-prepared to sit for the written perioperative echocardiography exam by the conclusion of the fellowship and will be expected to become board-certified as a result.
