Nursing Academic Education - RN to MSN

The curriculum for the RN to MSN Program has been designed specially for the registered nurse with either a diploma in nursing or an associate degree in nursing. The program offers the opportunity to achieve graduate study at an accelerated pace. The program is designed for those students who are motivated to pursue this goal. Through a combination of accelerated courses and dual-purpose courses, the student moves rapidly through the baccalaureate level competencies and into the graduate curriculum.

When the accelerated courses and transition course work are completed, the student may choose from the same array of major areas of graduate study as the traditional post-BSN student. The curriculum offers two specialty areas of study:  Leadership in Nursing Systems and Family Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Phyllis Hart Tipton will be your  academic advisor to help plan the progression through the program and ensure that the education experience and progress will be optimal. Please contact Dr. Tipton at 254-724-4764 or email Send an email with any questions.
