The 6th Annual Management of the Complex Hospitalized Patient conference is designed to provide physician, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with information and skills to improve their care of hospitalized patients.
Topics presented focus on special populations, such as geriatrics, and medical problems that span a spectrum of sub-specialties, such as end of life care, prognostication and wound care. In addition, growing trends, such as accountable care organizations and information technology systems, and what that means for our patient population and care, are examined. The conference also addresses upcoming regulatory changes and reviews existing definitions. Optional modules from the American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification are available at an additional fee.
