The Scott & White CME Department is responsible for more than 200 directly-provided activities and 18 jointly-provided activities annually. This includes more than 30 regularly scheduled series. In addition, the department offers several advanced life support classes.

For these activities, the learner participates in person either at the location of the activity or remotely. These activities include courses ranging from one hour to several days in length.

Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS)

Regularly scheduled series (RSS) are series with multiples sessions that occur on an ongoing basis (offered weekly, monthly or quarterly) and are primarily planned by and presented to an accreditated organization's professional staff. Examples include grand rounds, tumor boards and M&M conferences.

Advanced Life Support Courses

Advanced life support courses provide certification for healthcare providers through the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) for FCCS courses; American Heart Association (AHA) for ACLS and PALS courses, and the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for ATLS courses.
